Sunwhite® Calrose Rice is an oval medium-grain white rice known for its quality and taste. When cooked, Calrose rice becomes soft and tender with a tendency to stick together due to its succulent grains, allowing it to retain its moisture. Ingredients to serve:

  • 3 Colored Bell Peppers

  • 1 cup Sunwhite Rice (medium-grain)

  • 1 tbsp Fresh Basil Or Parsley (fresh and chopped)

  • 1 can Tomatoes (diced)

  • ½ cup Mozzarella Cheese (grated)

  • ½ kg Ground Turkey

  • 1 Onion (diced)

  • 2 tbsp Basil Leaves

  • 1 tbsp Rosemary Leaves

  • 1 tbsp Thyme Leaves

  • 2 tbsp Oregano

  • 1 tbsp Dried Parsley (dried)

  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder

  • Salt

  • Black Pepper (to taste)

  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

  • 1 cup Water (for cooking rice)

  • ½ cup Mozzarella Cheese (grated for topping)

Medium Grain

White medium grain rice is a round, tender and succulent grain, allowing it to lock in moisture when it is cooked. This rice is often used in dishes that require a bit more creaminess, like paella or risotto. It is also ideal in your favourite Middle Eastern, Korean and Spanish dishes.

  • Prepare the bell peppers by cutting them in half and emptying the pulp, then brush them with olive oil and roast them in the oven until they are undercooked

  • In a pan sauté the onion and add to it the ground turkey, herbs, salt and pepper.

  • Add the tomatoes and cook all together.

  • Add later the cooked rice, mozzarella, mix them all on medium heat until all melted, Add salt and pepper.

  • Remove bell peppers from oven, add the stuffing on them, and then add additional little mozzarella on top.

  • Put back in oven for 10 minutes.

  • Serve warm
