Fried Rice with Eggs
Method
Wash the rice, strain it and mix it in a pot with two cups of water and a teaspoon of salt. Bring it to a boil. Lower the heat, cover the pot and cook for 10 minutes.
Stir in the carrots and peas, cover the pot again and cook for 10 more minutes. Remove from heat, keep it covered for a couple of minutes then fluff the rice using a fork.
Heat a tablespoon of the oil in a saucepan, add the eggs and cook for 2-3 minutes. Turn the resulting omelette over and cook it for 1-2 minutes.
In a different pan, heat the remaining oil and cook the spring onions for 2-3 minutes until tender and translucent. Add the garlic and cook for 2-3 more minutes.
Add the peppers, broccoli and soy sauce. Season with five-spice mix, salt and pepper and cook the mix for 2-3 minutes.
Put the omelette in the middle of the sauce and scatter the cooked rice around it. Cook the mix for 2-3 minutes stirring it gently.
أضيفي الفلفل والبروكلي وصلصة الصويا ورشّي المزيج بملعقة صغيرة من مزيج الخمس بهارات وبعض الملح والبهار واطبخيه لمدّة 2-3 دقائق.
ضعي الملح و الفلفل الأسود ثم قدمي.
